Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Film Commission Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern stands for panoramic views over gentle hills, small and large lakes, the Baltic Sea with its cliffs and sandy beaches. In the historic Hanse Cities impressive medievial brick buildings can be found next to East German-style concrete high-rise buildings and villages that seem to be asleep since 50 years. Rügen and Usedom are two of the sunniest German islands with stable weather and excellent light conditions, made famous by the painter Caspar David Friedrich. Also numerous lovingly restored castles and mansions or the residence town Schwerin are splendid movie sceneries.
