Baden-Württemberg

Coordination Office Baden-Württemberg

By setting up a network of regional film commissions for the film industry, the film location Baden-Württemberg has created something quite new on the German sponsorship scene. The idea behind this is to provide the film industry with direct access to sources of regional competence. Thus, the contacts and sector knowledge of the film commissions can be used and implemented efficiently. They offer individual consulting and detailed information on filming locations, on filming permits as well as on artistic and technical professionals and young talents from the region. They mediate between filmmakers and regional service providers, public authorities, and experts from all conceivable areas. In doing so, they are the first point of contact for producers from all over the world. This service is free of charge. Baden-Württemberg offers various locations and a great diversity of regions with its cities and landscapes. The Black Forest, the Swabian Alb, the Rhine valley, and the Lake Constance are just the most prominent examples of large variety of the landscapes found in Baden-Württemberg. In between, there are areas with numerous palaces and castles, bridges and impressive buildings, factories and picturesque old towns, modern architecture and big city atmosphere, which enhance these colourful and diverse motifs. The central points of contact are the Film Commission Region Stuttgart and MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg (regional film fund).
