German Film Commissions continue "Keen to be green"

The sustainability initiative "Keen to be green" of the German Film Commissions will be continueed. The nationwide initiative was launched in 2020 to provide individual training in the field of sustainable work processes. The online seminars for the trades scene design, costume design, script and direction, production, light and camera, agencies and acting had about 700 active participants.

The format is now going into a new round. The very good response to the seminar series showed how important the topic of green filming is. Many participants wanted a further exchange.

Eight digital events are planned in 2021 for production, scenery, camera and light as well as costume design with green practice examples, interesting guest speakers and the Green Filming and TV expert Philip Gassmann.
